Terms of service
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Lakshya Jindal ("we", "us") for the Unclaimed app and website. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Unclaimed.
1. What Unclaimed is
Unclaimed helps you keep track of statement credits and other benefits on your credit cards, reminds you before they expire and compares credits used with annual fees. It is a tracking tool. It does not connect to your bank or card account, and it cannot see what you actually spent or received.
2. Not financial advice
Everything in the app, including any "keep it", "on the fence" or "review" label, is general information based on what you enter. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice and doesn't consider your personal situation. Decide for yourself, and check with your card issuer.
3. Benefit information may be wrong or out of date
We build our list of card benefits from the issuers' public pages and try to keep it current, and we show when each card was last verified. Issuers change fees, credits and rules without notice, and some details depend on your account or how you enrolled. Always confirm with your issuer. We are not responsible for a missed credit, a fee, or a decision you make based on information in the app.
4. No affiliation
Unclaimed is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any bank, card issuer or card network. Card and company names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the cards you hold.
5. Your account
You must be at least 18. Keep your sign-in email secure and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Your data → Delete account) or at our deletion page.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, probe or overload it, no scraping or reselling our benefit data, no unlawful use, and no use to harm others.
7. Subscriptions (when paid plans are offered)
- The free plan has limits, such as the number of cards you can track. Paid plans unlock more.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google. They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your Unclaimed account does not cancel a subscription.
- The price shown in the app at checkout is the price you pay. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies.
8. Your data
You own the information you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, as described in our privacy policy.
9. Changes and ending the service
We may update the app and these terms. If a change is material we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to use Unclaimed means you accept it. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect the service, and we may discontinue the app with reasonable notice.
10. Disclaimers
Unclaimed is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always arrive on time (they depend on your phone's settings and operating system).
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost savings, credits or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any consumer rights you have where you live.
